Thierry Despont - Master Decorator Architect in an array of styles
Thierry Despont is one of the few Master Decorator Architects who can design for the world's absolute and most discerning clients. Names such as Bill Gates, Ralph Lauren, Leslie H. Wexner, Calvin Klein and Millard Drexler are just a few of the powerful and influential names that he has created dream homes for. His reach and style council extends far from the Swiss Alps to exotic tropical homes in Asia. Also uniquely he is an avid painter - creating fantstic planet like orbs in oil. Unlike most designers he is fluid in a myriad of styles from classically accurate Louis 16th through to Art Deco right up to very hyper modern spaces. A connoisseur of art, architecture, and interiors both classical and modern, he was consulted for the renovation of the Statue of Liberty, Frick Family mansion and the Getty Center. He has designed a country house in the Hampton's for Calvin Klein as well as completed major commercial spaces for Harry Winston, the Carlyle Hotel, Dorchester Hotel and Claridges. Most recently, ThierryDespont has just completed an opulent neo-classical interior for the Principe di Savoia Hotel renovation in Milan. The quintessential Renaissance man, he is scholar of culture at the highest level making good taste his trade of choice.
