Inson Wood has created an intriguing room at the Evelyn Lauder Breast Cancer Research Foundation Designer Showhouse that shows an unusual restraint and a bit of courage. Where most designers at show houses try to employ "look at me" colors to grab attention this space is defined by natural modern and transitional elements primarily consisting of earth tones and textures. The minimalist approach allows the space to flow uncluttered by the usual over decorated use of accessories and objects. Each designer was asked to pick a woman of significance - Inson Wood chose Angelina Jolie - there are hints of elements that represent her active lifestyle, energetic children and architecture savvy husband Brad Pitt.

Due to overwhelming attendance - the showhouse dates have been extended to December 13th, 2009 from 12pm to 6pm every day except Mondays. Open late on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm.

In the 20 rooms ( 2 apartments) Viewers can see 18 of New Yorks top interior designers including several that are claimed by Architectural Digest magazine to be in the top 100 of the world.
