Holiday House NYC has drawn huge crowds with its dramatic rooms by 20 top interior designers in New York City.  NBC's Jane Hansen and Sara Gore came to interview several designers this year.  One outstanding room was Chinese New Year by Inson  Dubois Wood mixing a host of styles including museum quality Paris 1930's Ruhlmann furniture, Louis XVI window treatments and Wall Paper and modern pieces by Herve Van Der Straeten. Among the art pieces selected Museum of Modern Art caliber pieces by Jeff Koons and Larry Zox.

Lladro porcelain pieces sit upon museum quality Ruhlmann dining table. To contrast the Beaux Arts panelling,  Inaon Dubois Wood used an 8' tall Larry Zox painting which looms over  a console and cabinet both by Ruhlmann - courtesy of Pollaro.

Inson Dubois Wood created  Dramatic Pelmets with custom silk trim and tassels by Christopher Hyland to envoke the feeling of lanterns. Scalamandre provided the Chinoiserie silk and Damask. Chandelier is by Herve Van der Straeten courtesy of Maison Gerard.

A Crystal Coffee table and12'ft long modernist sofa by Moura Starr set the stage for a painting by Ron Erlich. Inson Wood procured both of these pieces from Stephen Haller Gallery. On the right a painting by Michael Dickey.
