Banksy Caught! On film. David Guetta vs Thierry Guetta

Banksy appears to have watered down his edgy political work for feel good social commentary.

Banksy created Mr. Brainwash with his film " Exit Through The Gift Shop" and since then the student has surpassed the master. Banksy as Dr. Frankenstein's created a monster, and it is unleashed on the town in the form of Mr. Brainwash aka Thierry Guetta - half brother of  Mega DJ David Guetta.

Inson Wood being filmed on his Documentary about the art world and Pop Art's appropriation of popular icons - specifically targeting the work of pop artists and street artists:  Warhol, Basquiat, Koons, Hirst, Murakami, Kusama, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, and CANTSTOP GOODBOY.

CANTSTOPGOODBOY - an LA based Artist is emerging faster than weeds in Banksy's garden is another young artist influenced by Banksy - Inson Wood advises on investing in young artists who have aligned themselves with celebrities and tech companies - CANT STOP GOOD BOY is one of the hottest young artists to emerge out of the LA Street Art scene already designing sneakers for major brands and has been collected by CEO of Sony.

Banksy is one of the most controversial living artists - primarily because he doesn't exist or is afraid to come out.

Banksy is one of the most controversial artists - not so much for his semi political messages but more because he is anonymous and has never shown his face.

Banksy is often accused of being a fake revolutionary - like V for Vendetta, and more about the Bank than about the art.

Banksy is one of the most controversial artists of our time - primarily because he doesn't take credit for his art. Time to come out Banksy.

Banksy is one of the most controversial artists - not so much for his semi political messages but more because he is anonymous and has never shown his face.  Clown or Prophet, Banksy's power is in his agelessness.

Perhaps Banksy has raised the questions - what is authorship, what is real, what is art, and what is value? Banksy is one of the most controversial artists - not so much for his semi political messages but more because he is anonymous and has never shown his face.

Banksy is one of the most controversial artists - not so much for his semi political messages but more because he is anonymous and has never shown his face.  He should come out and be political...or not.

Banksy's best work is an oil painting of a still life on canvas - borrowing from Van Gogh - the single most under appreciated artist who died conflicted and impoverished shooting himself in a sunflower field.

Banksy or Mr. Brainwash. Does it even matter?

Inson Wood interviewing a gallerist on the significance of Banksy creating Mr. Brainwash.

Inson Wood interviewing an young Columbia Univ MBA investment banker from Manhatttan on the reason he buys art - answer "Its one of the best ROI ( return on investments since Apple and Google went IPO.  In fact the Pop Art Market through Sothebys, Christies, Phillips de Pury - have out performed the DOW incredibly over the last 15 years - weathering the recession. That's a pretty good run - that's why I am here - investment strategies are always being speculated around art. If I was more liquid I would buy every Mr. Brainwash piece in here - you cannot touch another known Pop Artist for less than 300K.  Who knows Brainwash might even turn out to be Banksy.

Banksy is a graffiti artist who has reached epic heights.

Did Mr. Brainwash become Banksy, or did Banksy become Mr. Brainwash?

Inson Wood, a ultra-luxury hi-end Residential Designer in Manhattan, who advises clients on Art, says Banksy, and particularly Mr. Brainwash are worth investing in. Mr. Wood shown here in Greenwich, CT where he attended Mr. Brainwashes first Connecticut One Man Show at Samuel Owen Gallery www.samuelowen.com

Decorator/Architect, Inson Wood, advises his clients to invest in Jeff Koons for the best return on investment. " He and Larry ( Gagosian ) are essentially unstoppable. Larry has taken Jeff to stratospheric levels of PR and art exhibits never seen before in the history of mankind. Julius Ceasar's artist would have had less publicity.  Koons, one the most talented artists to ever exist is now untouchable - shows at the Met, Versailles, Whitney,  and public displays at Guggenheim, Rockefeller Center, the list is endless.
But as much as Inson Wood recommends buying a Koons, not everyone has 8 to 50 million dollars to dole out - for the rest of mere mortals not backed by the world bank, Mr. Wood says buy Mr. Brainwash:
Definitely invest in Mr. Brainwash - he is a celebrity and his work is hugely published already selling at Phillips de Pury for triple the estimated costs. Who else can you get a painting from for 60k? Its almost laughable - thats like student art prices...and Mr. Brainwash is going to ascend faster than maybe even Jeff - he has disruptive technology, the internet, film, Facebook, Google, Artnet, Youtube and Banksy all behind him.  His paintings are 10k to 70k and if you can afford that his website www.mrbrainwash.com sells spray cans for $100! If thats not a bargain for a piece of art nothing is.
Banksy created Mr. Brainwash - now their work is indiscernible.

Banksy or Brainwash - hard to tell.

Warhol borrowed from celebrity photos, Banksy borrowed from Warhol, and Mr. Brainwash borrowed from Banksy or vice versa.
