Banksy originally collaborated with Shepard Fairey to create the film about Mr. Brainwash entitled "Exit through the Gift Shop." Some believe the gift shop is Mr. Brainwash's online website www.mrbrainwash.com where one can buy the things directly.

Inson Wood, who sells Warhols and Koons to his clients says that although Mr. Brainwash is borrowing iconic images from these powerhouse images he has his own distinct style: " Mr. Brainwash is choking in talent and fresh ideas - he is so prolific sometimes people get confused by his endless energy and ability to produce so much work at such a high volume. There will be a day when Larry Gagosian picks up Mr. Brainwash and will absolutely put an end to the massive outpouring of his work - when that happens we will all be millionaires. In the meantime - collect as many pieces as you can - this is like early Warhol and early Basquiat - they were trading paintings for sandwiches and bags of marijuana - now you could buy 3 townhouses for a quality Andy Warhol painting."

Never Lunch Alone - Mr. Brainwash Takes on The World

There are some people we envy because they always seem connected to the coolest and the most powerful people.  As a result of being so well connected they are never without interesting projects and seem to continually be invited to all the best parties and all of the best people in turn seek them out.  Mr. Brainwash is one of those people magnets - recently appearing on Jimm Fallon - he was able to get a stunt painting Rita Ora and then Jimmy himself.

Mr. Brainwash is charismatic and a real celebrity personality himself, both philosopher and comedian - he has a huge presence and the ability to get people to take action and always willing to take action himself. Beyond being outlandish, Mr. Brainwash is not afraid to take the calculated risk required to make a statement in the art world - his Banksy/ Fairey film Exit Through the Gift Shop" is proof of that.

For a long period everyone wanted to write Mr. Brainwash off as a concoction of Banksy - whether or not that is the case the fact remains he has developed his brand over 6 years and is still going strong and growing in popularity by the minute - a condo 80 ft tall mural in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  Ironically although not particularly difficult to look at - Mr. Brainwash has surrounded himself with the "beautiful people" from the celebrity world and also added a few cute and cuddly ones such as Charlie Chaplin, Einstein, and a hoard of animals.  "Like him or not, Mr. Brainwash is here to stay and will be looked back on in 20 years as a significant player in the world art scene"  - Gallery owner Lee Milazzo
